Abstract
Obiteljska poljoprivredna gospodarstva, kao obiteljska poduzeća, igraju temeljnu ulogu u razvoju ruralnog prostora iz nekoliko razloga: gospodarskog razvoja, očuvanja ruralnog nasljeđa, održivosti i ekologije, diversifikacije ruralne ekonomije, razvoja lokalne infrastrukture, zadržavanja stanovništva te turističkog potencijala. Razvoj obiteljskih poljoprivrednih gospodarstava ima snažan utjecaj na razvoj ruralnih područja, doprinoseći njihovom ekonomskom, socijalnom i ekološkom prosperitetu. Cilj ovog rada je je produbiti razumijevanje uloge koju obiteljska poduzeća imaju u regionalnom gospodarstvu. Drugi cilj je prepoznati učinak regionalnih konteksta na obiteljska poduzeća poticanjem unakrsne oplodnje ideja, teorije i istraživačkih metoda između dva područja. Konkretno odnos između obitelji, poduzeća i regija te u kojoj mjeri te veze doprinose regionalnom gospodarskom i društvenom razvitku.
Abstract (english)
Family farms, as family businesses, play a fundamental role in the development of rural areas for several reasons: economic development, preservation of rural heritage, sustainability and ecology, diversification of the rural economy, development of local infrastructure, population retention and tourist potential. In conclusion, supporting family farms has a strong impact on the development of rural areas, contributing to their economic, social and ecological prosperity. The aim of this paper is to deepen the understanding of the roles that family businesses play in the regional economy. Another goal is to recognize the effect of regional contexts on family business by encouraging the cross-fertilization of ideas, theories and research methods between the two fields. The concrete relationship between family, company and region and to what extent these relationships contribute to regional economic and social development.
