Abstract
Rad se sastoji od teorijskog i praktičnog dijela, u prvom dijelu rada teorijski je objašnjena važnost poznavanja ponude i potražnje te koliko promjena u cijenama proizvoda utječe na njenu prodaju. U radu su uz teorijski dio objašnjene i formule izračunavanja cjenovne elastičnosti koje se koriste dalje u praktičnom dijelu rada. U praktičnom dijelu rada koriste se stvarni podatci od poduzeća koje se bavi prodajom obuće i modnih dodataka, te je praćeno kretanje cijena određenog asortimana kroz neko vrijeme i prodana količina istog te kako su kupci reagirali na promjene cijena. Na povećanje ili smanjenje prodaje proizvoda utječu faktori kao što su promjena cijene proizvoda, dohodci kupaca, izbor proizvoda i supstituta, te također ovisi jesu li proizvodi luksuzni ili nužni u svakodnevnom životu. Cilj rada je prikazati cjenovnu elastičnost navedenih proizvoda te osjetljivosti kupaca na promjenu cijena, također i vidjeti kako vanjski čimbenici mogu utjecati na cjenovnu elastičnost proizvoda.
Abstract (english)
The paper consists of a theoretical and practical part. In the first section, the theoretical importance of understanding supply and demand is explained, emphasizing how changes in product prices impact sales. The theoretical part also includes formulas for calculating price elasticity, which are further applied in the practical section. In the practical part, real data from a company specializing in the sale of footwear and fashion accessories are utilized. The price movement of a specific assortment over time is tracked, alongside the quantity sold, and customer reactions to price changes are observed. Factors influencing the increase or decrease in product sales include changes in product prices, customer incomes, product selection, and substitutes. The impact also varies based on whether the products are considered luxury or essential in daily life. The goal of the paper is to illustrate the price elasticity of the mentioned products and customer sensitivity to price changes. Additionally, it aims to examine how external factors can influence the price elasticity of products.
