Abstract
Bitcoin je suvremena tehnologija koja ima funkciju novca - to je izum koji koristi tehnološke potencijale digitalnog doba da riješi problem kako premještati ekonomsku vrijednost kroz vrijeme i prostor. Tržišta kriptovaluta nisu regulirana. Poradi globalno neovisnog funkcioniranja, države imaju velikih problema u njihovoj regulaciji. Promjene u svijetu kriptovaluta su veoma ubrzane i česte ponajviše radi inovacija na globalnom tržištu. Događa se da nestaju i nastaju nove kriptovalute. Istraživanje o kriptovalutama pokazala su da su ista prevladavajuća u širokom rasponu kriminalnih aktivnosti. MUP podaci pokazuju povećanje kriminalnih aktivnosti vezane za kripotivalute u Republici Hrvatskoj. Empirijsko analiza pokazala je stabilnost Bitcoina za lipanj 2024. godine, dok je analiza isplativosti za 2025. godinu ukazala na smanjenje pada cijene Bitcoina. Cilj rada odnosi na utvrđivanje buduće isplativosti Bitcoina za korisnika i posjednika Bitcoin novčanica.
Abstract (english)
Bitcoin is a modern technology that has the function of money - it is an invention that uses the technological potential of the digital age to solve the problem of moving economic value through time and space. Cryptocurrency markets are not regulated. Because of their globally independent functioning, states have major problems in their regulation. Changes in the world of cryptocurrencies are swift and frequent, mostly due to innovations in the global market. It happens that new cryptocurrencies disappear and arise. Research on cryptocurrencies has shown that they are prevalent in a wide range of criminal activities. Ministry of Interior Affairs data show an increase in criminal activities related to cryptocurrencies in the Republic of Croatia. Empirical analysis showed the stability of Bitcoin for June 2024, while profitability analysis for 2025 indicated a decrease in the price of BitcoinThe aim of the work refers to the determination of the future profitability of Bitcoin for users and owners of Bitcoin banknotes.
