Abstract (english)
Fake news has become ubiquitous, causing severe technological, economic, and security consequences. This paper aims to analyse the problem of fake news from the perspectives of these areas and identify key challenges and opportunities to combat their spread. The paper analyses relevant and recent literature, examining various aspects of fake news, including technological tools and platforms that enable its dissemination, economic motives behind its production and distribution, and security implications arising from its impact on society and citizens’ safety. The main research findings highlight the complexity of the fake news problem and the need for a multidisciplinary approach to address it. Technological innovations, such as algorithms for detecting fake news and improving digital literacy, can help combat their spread. Economic approaches can also positively impact, such as regulating advertising on platforms that promote fake news. Security measures, such as enhancing critical thinking and media literacy, can reduce the influence of fake news on society. Additionally, the perspective of citizen security and the need to implement various security procedures, including police and citizen collaboration, should be considered to mitigate the impact of disinformation. In conclusion, this paper provides insights into the problem of fake news from the perspectives of technology, economy, and security, identifying key challenges and opportunities to curb their spread. A multidisciplinary approach and collaboration among various stakeholders are crucial for successfully addressing this issue and preserving the integrity of information in contemporary society
