Abstract
Tema završnog rada je pravo na plaću te je cilj rada prikazati način na koji radnik ostvaruje pravo na plaću, opisati što plaća uopće je, opisati kako funkcionira radni odnos i nabrojati koja prava i obveze proizlaze iz radnog odnosa. Rad obuhvaća opis pojma plaće, funkcioniranje radnog odnosa, te prava i obveze koje iz njega proizlaze. Radni odnos definira se kao pravni odnos između poslodavca i radnika, temeljen na dvostrano obveznom ugovoru. Plaća je jedno od najvidljivijih kompenzacija unutar radnog odnosa, a na njezinu visinu utječu različiti čimbenici poput zahtijevanog znanja i vještina, vrste posla, sindikalnog statusa i drugih. Ustav Republike Hrvatske ističe pravo svakog zaposlenika na dostojnu plaću, koja osigurava dostojan i slobodan život.
Abstract (english)
The topic of the final paper is the right to pay, and the aim of the paper is to show the way in which a worker realizes the right to pay, to describe what a pay is in general, to describe how the employment relationship works and to enumerate the rights and obligations arising from the employment relationship. The paper includes a description of the concept of salary, the functioning of the employment relationship, and the rights and obligations arising from it. An employment relationship is defined as a legal relationship between an employer and an employee, based on a mutually binding contract. Salary is one of the most visible compensations within the employment relationship, and its amount is influenced by various factors such as required knowledge and skills, type of work, union status and others. The Constitution of the Republic of Croatia emphasizes the right of every employee to a decent salary, which ensures a dignified and free life.
